Need a Second Shooter?

For an additional $120.00 per hour, you can add a second photographer to your package to ensure every moment of your day is beautifully captured from multiple angles.

This is our process:

I. Book the date.

You’ve seen my work, and you like what you see. Now it’s time to learn more about working with me! We can set up a call, meet in person or continue our chat through email so we can get to know one another and you can tell me all about your wedding day plans. We’ll look through past albums and talk about my package offerings and decide which is right for you. I can answer any questions you have. After our consult, I follow up with a photography agreement, your invoice with deposit info and a wedding questionnaire so you can provide me with all the important details about your wedding day, including your family photo list, vendor details, and other key details about the day.

II. POst Booking

My role as your photographer isn’t just about showing up, photographing your wedding, and delivering images. I work with you every step of the way to ensure that all your questions are answered, that we are on the same page about the timeline, and that we can discuss how the photography will play into the schedule of the day. I'm here for you whenever you have any questions, from needing suggestions for photoshoot locations or even what dress I think is prettier for your engagement shoot!

III. Engagement Shoot

All my packages come with a complimentary engagement session. Beforehand, we will work together to pick the perfect location at a time that works for the both of us. My advice is to choose a location that is special to you, but if not I have a lot of suggestions depending on what you are looking for. Engagement sessions are the best way for us to get to know each other and give you a glimpse into my shooting and editing process before your wedding.

IV. Leading Up to the Big Day

At the beginning of your wedding year, I reach out to check in with you and make sure the plans are the same. If you have all your details ready, we will work together to finalize the day-of timeline, and you will also send me your final family photo list. I keep in touch with you both six and two months out from your wedding date, and then we check back in two weeks before the wedding to make sure nothing has changed. Communication is key to ensuring that all your needs for the day are accounted for, and no surprises arise on the day of your wedding.

V. Image Delivery


You are officially married and now you're dying to see your photos! Within 72hrs of your wedding date I will email teasers from your day. Your full gallery of images is delivered within 10-12 weeks. When I deliver your full online gallery, you will receive instructions on how to download the images, as well as detailed instructions on ordering an album or prints if you would like to. It's all very easy to do through the gallery, but we can set up a meeting to go over your options if needed!

People often don’t realize this until after they’re married. But your photographer is the one person you spend the most time with on your wedding day. So it’s pretty important you choose a photographer you trust. Someone who you can feel 100% comfortable with. The best way to figure out if we’re a great fit is to reach out to me. Write me an email, and let’s set up a time to chat. This can either be through email, in person, or on the phone.

If you decide you want to book me as your wedding photographer, I’ll need two things. 

  1. a %35 non-refundable retainer
  2. a signed contract from you (more info on that below). And then: we celebrate!

From that point forward, I am with you every step of the way. I’ll offer my guidance and support in any way I can. I can help you find other vendors who will help bring your dream day to life. And I most definitely will get over-the-moon excited when you send me photos of your dress!! Why? Because that is the type of relationship I love having with my couples! First off, my pricing packages are not a “one-size-fits-all” solution. So I’d never want to turn away an incredible couple based on their budget. That’s why it’s so important for us to get in contact with one another. So I can listen to what you are actually looking for and suggest ways for us to move forward and work together! There’s a good chance we can find a solution that works for both of us, like reducing my coverage time or sending one of my team members instead. There are many ways we can work together that gives you the photos you want, and still allows me to pay my own bills and keep my small business afloat!

Short answer: no. The reason I include two photographers with every package is because it allows me to do my best work and uphold my promise to deliver two things to my clients: 1. the highest quality photographs, and 2. an exceptional client experience. 

To give a little context: Over the years, I encountered too many situations where I felt like my work (and opportunity for exceeding client expectations) was at risk of being compromised for things out of my control. For example; timeline delays; last minute family grouping additions; speeches running overtime, etc. I never want my clients’ photographs or experience to be compromised in any way! To ensure this, I always bring a second photographer with me on any given wedding day, so no memories are compromised.

The rest of the editing process typically takes up to 12 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I would say 70% of the way my photos look comes down to my editing process. Each photo receives basic colour correction, cropping, adjustments for lighting etc, as well as a custom colour grading to give you the vibe you see in my portfolio.

In the case of an extreme emergency such as severe illness or injury and I am unable to photograph your wedding, the second photographer becomes the primary photographer, or a fill - in photographer will be scheduled if a second has not been booked. If a second photographer has been booked and becomes the primary photographer, a new second photographer will join them. All my hired photographers are professionals that meet my strict standards of training, quality, professionalism and similar shooting style.
